Is the price final or are there additional monthly fees?

We use the old-school pricing model where you pay just once and use the app as much as you like. There are no hidden fees or additional subscription costs. It’s that simple.

Is there a trial version?

Yes, you can download the demo here:

The demo version has all the features and content, but it exports watermarked images. To get rid of watermarks, simply purchase the app and enter the licence number

Can I purchase multiple licences for my co-workers?

Absolutely! Just specify the number of licences you need during checkout. If you need more than 10 licenses, just let us know at support@smartmockups.com and we’ll set you up.

Do you offer any educational discounts?

Yes, we can give bulk discounts for educational institutions. Send us an email at support@smartmockups.com and we’ll set you up.

Will you be adding new devices in the future?

We update the Smartmockups library regularly. New mockups will be added as they are completed. And we’ll be adding new hardware as soon as it’s available. If you think something is currently missing from the SmartMocks app, just let us know by sending an email to support@smartmockups.com. We love receiving new ideas and feedback from our customers.

What is the difference between the free and desktop app versions?

The desktop app has more than 200 premium mockups pre-installed. It’s a far more robust system than the free version, allowing you to create powerful mockups for more screens, which is great for presenting responsive designs. Also, the desktop app comes with awesome vector devices and changeable backgrounds. It lets you create fantastic perspective screen mockups without being a skilled designer or Photoshop expert.

What file formats does Smartmockups support?

Standard image file types are supported by Smartmockups (i.e. jpeg, png). And the app always exports mockups as .png images. At the moment, Photoshop .psd and Sketch file types are not supported, but all you need to to do is export images from these programs as .jpegs before uploading to SmartMockups.

What about privacy? Are my designs safe?

We’re glad you asked! The great think about Smartmockups is that all the magic happens right inside your own computer. Your designs are never uploaded to the internet or stored on our servers. Your designs are always private, proprietary and remain your creative property.

Are there any updates planned for the app?

Absolutely! We have a big plans - you can check out the public roadmap.
